    Something I find odd;

    I bought an Uberti 1851 Navy from Dixie Gun Works, the arbor is the perfect length.

    The Dragoon and 1861 Navy came from KYGUNCO, both Uberti's and had short arbors.

    I'm wondering if DGW specs their guns from Uberti with the correct size arbors and KYGUNCO is buying normal inventory.

    The DGW gun cost significantly more, I thought they were the same, now I'm thinking that may not be the case. Depending on the model DGW is $50-$70 more

        Unsettling that they don't understand a fix for this

            You got it, arbor was too short. It's the same story for pretty well every Uberti out there and it causes a whole host of problems.

            Owning both Uberti and Pietta pistols made in the last few years IMO the Piettas are better made insomuch as they are at least able to run (run well even) right out of the box. Too bad Pietta doesn't make a Dragoon or Walker.
