Pronounced hand gunneh. First gun book I ever bought was by Held and published by Stoeger and was found on a rack in the sporting goods store. Held believed that in the late 1300's, after the crusades opened up trade with the East, Islamic traders brought the first guns to Europe. The Hussite Protestants in early 1400's held off the Pope's armies for decades by using these early weapons.

The nice thing is that there is no moving parts, so an Indian main gun is not a risk.
In the Prime series about Marco Polo the Japanese are using them against Kublai Khan's mongol army. It used to be free, but now it's only free with adds or $10 a season.Comment
