    I?m trying to determine the value of an antique receiver M28-76

    I?m trying to determine the approximate value of this rifle. I?ve spent a lot of time on google, and it is all over the place. It falls in that rare enough category that I just can?t figure it out.

    appears to be in excellent condition, may be a .308 bore.

    They are .308. Last few sales have been $900-1,000. At one point they were getting $1,600-1,800 but the post war stuff has really cooled off. Having a scope base is the difference in price.

        Yeah out of nowhere the bottom seems to have fallen out on post war rifles. Yet Refurbished Russian 91/30 Garbage Rods are selling for up to $600. Makes no sense.
