Hay Abenaki so "The 62 pocket police is my favorite one" They have a soft spot in my heart also (see pic) Just plain sexy! I have 2! Both were made at the same time, and that's why I know that you can't just toss any cylinder into a revolver and expect it to work.

I mostly shoot Ruger Old Army and I picked up two cylinders on eBay years ago for under $100 and they did not had to be timed. I looked at prices recently and cylinders now go for $300+, to me this is nuts.

        Those sure are nice looking!
I think that they are the best looking of all of the Colt's cap & ball revolvers.

        Thanks for sharing

Or build one, I mentioned to my brother I was getting this Pietta 1858 and the next thing I get is UPS delivery 10 days later! The blueprints were posted on the internet I just forwarded them to him never expecting he would build one!. Heck I'm lucky if I can hit a straight nail! I've lined the contact points with green felt and added some stick-on bumpers to the bottom.

I made one from scrap wood - I needed one in a hurry so it isn't pretty but it still works great. I may need to make a bigger one for the Walker though
