K31 Special Select Grade from Samco

I just got a call from samco, for a credit card number. They said my K31 special select grade was in stock and I should get it in 10 days. I will post pictures when I get it. The special Select is suppose to be the higher end of very good. The price was $119 + 18 s&h

    Me Too!

Just ordered one myself but I opted for the walnut stock for another $20. Best of luck to us both!

Now to find that deal on ammo...

Same here, went with the Walnut. Samco is especially slow in processing orders but I have heard go thing on the boards regarding quality once it does arrive. Got my fingers crossed.

        I Got it Jan 5th

Here it is. I noticed they just raised the prices $20. The stock looks good, many dings and one repair. Some wear on the left side of the reciever.

Thanks for the pictures. I ordered Walnut special select about 10 days ago. Just in time to get the price increase, huh. The website said they had excellent condition in stock but that was corrected when I spoke with the operator on the phone. By that time I was already about 10 minutes into the call (between them looking for and eventually finding my C&R in their files and communication issues). So special select for me (AIM was sold out and I've wanted a walnut K31 to pair up with my blonde). I've got my fingers crossed too.

That stock looks 100 times better than my hand picked AIM walnut.

Samco is not the greatest Customer Service wise, and require a little patience. But in the end, they do what they say they will do and the descriptions pretty much reflect reality.

Actually, my AIM hand-picked walnut kinda looks like that it the pics. I was very pleasantly surprised, after seeing all the beat-up K31 stocks in the forums. However, as I posted in another thread, when it arrived from "AIM" it came in Samco Global packaging. Maybe it was drop-shipped?

I must have ordered late and the pickin's were slim
I understand that these stocks are not going to be in the best of shape... but I was not expecting what I received, especially their hand picked

All the more reason to buy another

You must have gotten one of the last ones. My hand picked walnut from AIM had a nice stock with no cracks. Import mark is "SAMCO MIA FL". Took her out yesterday for the first shoot and I loved it. First aimed shot (after test fire) hit a bowling pin at around 150 yards. Let the guys try it out and now they all want one. One accurate gun!

Funny, I didn't notice the import mark until you mentioned it. Mine was on the bottom of the muzzle end of the barrel.
