FFL03 to Satisfy CMP MARKSMANSHIP OR OTHER FIREARMS-RELATED ACTIVITY Requirement?

    Hi CG community,

Has anyone used their FFL03 to satisfy the CMP MARKSMANSHIP OR OTHER FIREARMS-RELATED ACTIVITY requirement?

It says on their site, "Firearms Owner Identification Cards that included live fire training. ? FFL or C&R license" so I think it should be ok but I thought it is better to ask.

I emailed CMP but I'm not sure how fast they will respond.

    Thanks in advance.

I did and it worked. I just made a photocopy of my signed 03. You also need to show proof that you are a member of a club of some sort.

Garand Collectors association is the cheapest "marksmanship club" you can join to satisfy the requirement too. Would have joined CRPA but it's too expensive. I bet they'd make more money charging $20/year for a membership than $60/year.

Thanks. Looks like I'm gonna be a member of GCA.

We all should be members of CRPA and goa
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
        (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

You can also use your FSC card as your live firearm activity.

I'm a member of GOA. Does that count too?
