Local news in the Bay Area is reporting a lot more bear sighting in urban neighborhood on home
security cameras. Looks like you got that rifle just in the nick of time.

I've got a bunch of that wooden bullet ammo. I acquired it to load Ljungman ammo. I've never found an easy way to pull the bullet.

It's Berdan primed, isn't it? You tumble it after removing the bullet and powder?

I have zero experience with Berdan primed brass.

              It is Berdan primed.

I got it to use in my Ljungmans as a one-time-use case, because the Ljungman extraction/ejection sequence is quite hard on the cases.

At the time, SAMCO was selling the wooden bullet ammo for about half the cost of what primers cost now.

As a bonus, I recently discovered that the 800 round pack came with 160 Swedish 6.5x55 stripper clips.
