Actually not to shabby for a bubba gun. It would sure get some looks at the range.

why not? I would be outraged if this was a SVT or Hakim but this is basically a nagant. This is good work, considering, and not the standard bubba of ATI buttstock and cheapo rear sight scope mount.

Well, I think it's hideous. I cry a little inside every time I see a historical weapon mutilated--yes, even Mosins. Remember, almost any milsurp you can name was cheap and ubiquitous at one time...Mosins will not be that way forever.

At the same time, it's his gun and his business what he does with it. I would never chastise someone for "bubba-ing", I simply could never bring myself to do it.

He took a $300-400 M-39 and made it look like it lost a fight with an erector set. That turns my stomach. I get annoyed when people say "ohh well there were a million made" and "it only cost $69 dollars so it can be that valuable". Well some of the Older members can tell you about when they had buckets of 1903s, all matching K-98 Mausers, ETC ETC for sale for dirt cheap in hardware stores and they got sporterized because "there were a million made" and "they were cheap" now some models are expensive as all hell or hard as hell to find.

Im not against sporterizing, but use a Hacked up one, not a model that there were only a limited number built compared to other rifles.

Wow! What a piece of crap! An Antique Finn Mosin turned into a 17 pound "snaipur" rifle that can't really hit accurately at 500 yards.
Seller mentions that he couldn't sell it before, my guess is he won't be able to find a buyer again.

This was NOT a standard mosin-nagant. Finnish Mosin-Nagants are some of the rarest of the bunch and the antique SKY receiver that it was made out of even moreso. Ignorance is bliss.
