    Type 14

    It's been a while since I picked up a C&R firearm but this one caught my eye while I was picking up a modern handgun.

    It was almost a complete rig with only the extra firing pin and lanyard missing. It is a Kokubunji 1935 produced pistol. Unfortunately the cocking knob does not match and neither does one of the magazines. It did come with a Japanese pattern rag in the holster ammo pouch.

    I picked up a repro lanyard and will order a new production firing pin soon.

      Nice. I really like mine.

      If you plan on shooting it, keep note that the extractors are very week and prone to breaking from age. I got a spare with a bolt on fleabay but I'm making my own now out of spring steel to preserver my second replacement.

          The extractors are more likely to break with underpowered ammo- they smash back down on the unejected case.
