    Question about CZ 82

I was interested in the CZ82 9x18 but it comes with 12 round standard mags, so even C&R is not exempt from California's insane and bizarre mag law? It is just mind boggling the libtard 9th circus judges agree with that kind of twisted logic.

Yep. You can buy blocked mags if you hunt around on Gunbroker. Hopefully Judge Benitez has us on our way to nuking that stupid law.

Buy it anyway without the mag. There are 10 round mags out there.

You can buy 10 round CZ83 magazines. They only hold 9 rounds of 9x18 though and rattle, but it hasn’t affected the function.

And I just learned how and why the CZ82 is C&R!

I knew it was but just took it for granted - but as it just dawned on me that being 1982, it could not have been C&R, unless it had some interesting story behind it. Was compelled to look that up, and that is certainly an interesting way to go about it.

Very cool... I need to get some books on CZs.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

I really miss mine. Great shooters, well built, excellent design. Had to sell it off in the great divorce sale of a few years ago. Really tough to find one that doesn't look beat to hell lately, they are great pistols but were literally painted and that wasn't any Cerakote in that era so 90% of them have flaking paint jobs that look low rent.

The one I had had just a touch or normal holster wear near the muzzle but the rest of the gun was pretty pristine for a gun that was probably carried daily by a cop in Europe.

I may buy a beater and strip it and parkerize it or Cerakote it. Normally I abhor Bubba-ing C&Rs but for the CZ82, I would paint it or park it if it looked like hell but was in otherwise good shooting shape. I'm think parkerized with some nice Marschal Walnut grips.
