Bypassing the 1 in 30 rule

What documentation do you bring to help use this benefit that we have? A gun store has a couple handguns I want and wanted to grab them both but want to bring any additional paperwork to show that we are exempt from it.

    Thoughts? Experience in doing this?

    It depends.

What is the source of your exemption?
If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for the evening. If you set a man on fire, you'll keep him warm for the rest of his life.

I assume you have an 03 FFL and COE since you posted in C&R. You need a copy of your 03 and COE, make sure the ffl selects "30 day exempt" and will be prompted to enter your COE number.

I do. This is perfect. Thank you so much!

Private party transfer is also another way. I have bought 6 handguns in the last 20 days all by PPT.
