    Replica old time guns.

Really old time. Indian made. Middlesex Village Trading Co. and Veteran Arms fix up the rough spots, harden frizzens, etc. But it has been taking over a year for shipment after you order according to reports online lately.

Military Heritage ships fast but they don't correct small defects. Video demonstrates Military Heritage replicas.

My two have been from Middlesex Village Trading co. , were good quality, no issues.

Long land pattern (Brown Bess) from Military Heritage

I did a light defarb, stripped and recolored the stock. Haven't fired it yet, tho'. It is what it is. YMMV.

Other words what they are saying we're not responsible for the metallurgy if you decide to modify the product.

We sell historically accurate muskets and pistols in a non-firing state for demonstration purposes. This allows us to comply with various local, state, national and international firearms regulations, along with shipping company policy restrictions. This means the product can be shipped right to your doorstep. A certified gunsmith may decide to alter a musket or pistol to a firing state by drilling the vent hole and test firing it. No need to remove the breech plug. We are not legally responsible for any changes from its present state.

That's a nice Bess. Probably half the cost of an Italian made.

Gorgeous Brown Bess, great work, love these.

It was British standard issue for almost a hundred years (one of the first great flintlocks and one of the last), conquered India and leveraged the Napoleonic wars and used by both sides in the war of independence.
