1953 Hungarian 91/30 Sniper

This is a fairly rare Hungarian 91/30 Sniper bring back fron V.N. No import marks and in outstanding condition. Anyone have/seen one of these before?

Wow, very nice. I know a guy that specifically collects legitimate, most often fully documented military sniper rifles, and his collection was vast - filled several full sized Cannon safes! I am sure he showed me one of these, but after 8 hours of looking at his collection, I can't remember.

VERY pretty rifle. I'd say its worth is in excess of $1000, prolly closer to $1500 but I could be wrong.

If you can find one you'll pay 1500.00 plus in this kind of condition. Surprisingly enough the only thing more rare than this sniper is a regular Hungarian 91/30.

Wow... those are rare. Those were $1500 five years ago. I'd probably say that in excellent condition, and if you have the capture paperwork, it would be a solid $2000 rifle.

NICE! I would so love to find a sniper model some day. That one is near mint, amazing find.

Thanks, I was lucky to find it. This one has the 1954 marked PU scope which as far as the experts say is an unknown marking.

But I am into Colts if anyone wants it after I get to play with it a while.
C&C Colts, contract, commercial or whatever.
