Can you identify this magazine? WW2 30.06?

So my friend passed away and I've been going thru his stuff. He was a military collector, and some firearms. He has a lot of magazines for guns he doesn't own. I found this magazine today and have never seen anything like it. It is steel and very well made. It appears that 30.06 rounds fit in them. And has what look like Swiss stamping.



Thanks for any input. Just curious...I was thinking BAR auto but it does not look like any I seen on the webs.

Looks like a Schmidt Rubin 1889 magazine in 7.5 swiss.

Yep. Thanks. I thought this from a auto. I cant believe its that old. Its pretty impressive for a magazine in terms of craftsmanship and durability. The Swiss.
