I think these are Mauser barrels

I glommed a bunch of barrels at an online auction, including this group of three. They look like large ring Mauser barrels to me. They have some stampings on the shank. Anyone able to ID them and the marks?

FYI, thread diameter .110" is used on both small and large ring Mausers.
.980" is also used on both ring sizes.

What are the calibers, the thread outside diameter and thread count, and do you have a full length pic showing all the steps / contour?

Swedish Mauser barrels. 6.5x55mm. What length are they? So they are either M/38 or M/96, But there is a outside chance they are M/94. Probably the longer M/96 type.

Here is a pic of a M/96 project I have had for years, and not yet completed... Same markings.

        Thanks, SVT...right on the money.

I'm not sure of the length yet, these pictures were the only ones and no description was provided. The barrels have all been shipped (9 total, of various types) and should arrive late next week.

Say, SVT, do you have any experience with NOS "in the white" M38 Swedish Mauser bbls?

I remember them from back in the 90' when they were imported. What info are you looking for

I got four different lots of barrels at the online auction. One of them included the three barrels I posted about above. One of the other lots included what I believe may be an "in the white" M38 Swedish Mauser barrel. The lot also included two other barrels which I am virtually certain are Norwegian Kongsberg large ring Mauser target barrels which a number of vendors were selling 10-15 years ago. I had several and these appear to be identical.

The "in the white" barrel has some kind of white substance on it. Comparing the length of the "in the white" barrel to the 27" Norwegian barrels indicates a length of about 24". Apparently some of the M38 barrels came smeared with white grease and the length seems about right for an M38 barrel.

Yup, the white grease covered barrels are M/38. As I remember they were also wrapped in some tancolored paper.

Seems like you scored some nice stuff!

The barrels arrived today and all appears in order.

                    The M38 looks good

Found the "CO" and a crown at the breech end

                    There is either a "9" or a "6" near the muzzle...6.49 or 6.46?

                      Not a huge Mauser guy

But, how can you not love a Swede.

Likewise, the M96 barrels were in NOS shape
