Keep checking ammoseek and ammograb. I know I've seen 30-40 Krag ammunition for sale in the last couple of months. Just be ready to grab it while it's still in stock. Outdoor Limited, Targetsports USA and Selway Armory are great at sending purchases to FFL03's with a COE in California.

Handloaded first thing for my krag and have only had it out once. What i learned is that they don't like lighter bullets. Gonna load 200 or 220gr next time. Light stuff was all over the place and my bore is clean, shiny, and sharp.

My 1898 "Krag" is spot-on with 150 grain HPBT bullets.
