There's not much left. It's either been cut up, destroyed or imported into the US already.

Perhaps the French FR-F1 and FR-F2 sniper rifles may be coming around sometime soon... I wouldn't mind one.

There aren't many bolt action military rifles that would be C&R eligible left in the world...

the UN is really pushing eurpoe etc to de-mill their cold war stocks of obsolete arms. Hard to think that Yugo surps and mosins are going to be big ticket items someday soon.

I collect what there is an abundance of ammo for or rifles that are bring back non-shooters.

if the US ever gets rid of the beretta 92 won't that be eligable for C&R? there are a decent number of military surplus handguns in the world still.

My bet is any bolt action that Century Arms hasn't found in Turkey or India yet. Other then that, parts kits will be the new version of C&R.

These are the ones selling from Germany and other European Nations that are actually not C & R's yet in the form of "Police or Military Returns".
                ie the P5 (Walther), P6 (Sig P225), CZ 82, CZ 70, Zastava Md. 70....

I got to hold a CZ-70 at Bright Spot a while back. Makes me real annoyed that I can't just get one, as I like collecting CZ's.

Once my dad's got a transfer dealer lined up in his area, though, I'll be having fun with PPT's. Dad's a Californian in the military, stationed in KY.

It doesn't have to be 50 years old to be a curio, 50 years is the relic part.

Thats why I sugested that more modern surplus military pistols may be an option.

I know it will be a slim to no chance of this hitting the DCM, but what about the M-14s. I'm still hoping they will allow "de-machine guns" to be sold by the DCM.

AJAX22....As I know the law about Curio & Relics here in Ca. it makes no difference if it is officially on the list or not.

As I know it, if it is 50 years old Ca. treats it as a Curio and vise versa, if it is on the list it makes no difference it MUST be 50 years old to not 01 them.

There are warehouses full of Russian Capture German G/K43 rifles and a few G41's in Russia and some of the Former Sov. countries like the Ukraine, Armenia etc. where these rifles are still stored and under lock and key by the Mafia.. I mean Government over there.

It is reported that over 30,000 of these rifles and the spare parts for them are in storage, but the reason why they are not being imported here is that the Ruskies want top$$ for these rifles. They know the collector market is huge for these types.

I have also spoken to Dennis Kroh at Empire Arms, he and I were working in parallel at one point trying to work out a deal to get some of these rifles here to the States, but by those Ruskies wanted $1000-$1500 per rifle (depending on who you spoke with) plus shipping, importation fees, government fees, taxes, duties etc. etc. the total cost of an average Russian Capture G/K43 was around $1500-$2000 per rifle, and that is just cost, not the sales price!

The problem is not allot of people would want to spend $2000+ on a Russian Capture (forced matched) Arsenal redone G/K43 rifles, so we both abandoned this project around the same time.
