Another pistol reaches 100 years old

This Norwegian M1914 was made in 1922 at the Kongsberg under license to FN who held the patent rights for the Browning designed 1911 pistol in Europe (Colt held the patent rights in the Western Hemisphere). Note the unusual slide release and the lanyard loop magazine which is original to these pistols.

Very nice. I like all the numbered parts, but it makes me wonder, and maybe you know. If the numbers all match, would that mean that it has not been rebuilt, or did some countries refurb and put the same parts back together? I have a vague understanding that US arsenals just put the parts in buckets and pick any part out of the bucket to re-assemble, so most US arms are not the same set of parts that left the factory together. I’m just curious if anyone knows?

I am no expert, but I don't think I have ever seen one that I could point to and say definitively that it had been rebuilt. I have seen a couple "Kongsberg Colts" that had unnumbered parts like slide releases and thumb safeties, but those parts could have been replaced at any time during or after government service.

The barrels are, of course numbered to the gun, heck they even numbered the barrel bushing.
