A few months back I bought a 1947 made Star Model B in 9mm Luger and by accident bought magazines for the later made Model Super in 9mm Largo. Slight difference in the floorplate. Instead of returning the mags am tomorrow picking a 1957 made Super in Largo cartridge.
Largo ammo isn't terribly hard to find, and I reload, but I'd like to have the option of cheap shooting and ease of finding reloading components.
The Largo is a 9x23 case. Shooting Winchester 9x23 is a definite no as is 38 Super. 9mm Luger operates about 20% greater pressure than the Largo.
Any ideas on what to do for casual plinking and for reloading? No 380 ACP barrels out there, the Luger is a definite no with a stronger recoil spring? Will 38 ACP work, whether factory or the cases for reloading?

I have a "Super B" in 9 para. That I got from J&G Sales back in the original SSE days. IIRC the price was $189+ shipping. Then tacked on $70 for DROS and SSE service from OC Firearms. OTD was right at $300.
