    Enfield 1917 bolt issue

I have a Enfield 1917 with a bolt issue. The bolt is in the closed position and will only rotate about 90% and then stops, and obviously cannot be retracted.

I have dropped the floor plate, removed the trigger group, removed the safety, removed the bolt release - but still cannot get the bolt to rotate 100% to the open position.

    Any advice?

Three possibilities I can think of:
Cock on opening kit incorrectly installed
Front scope mount screw into the lug recess
If no alterations; broken firing pin, or the bolt shroud lugs on the FP are damaged.
Without "hands on", or pics, that's about the best I can do for you.
