    And another CZ

I got bit by the CZ bug hard:

Had to add one of the missing puzzle pieces:

I had to wait this one out since it's not on the C&R list; made in 1970. Also had to find a seller willing to ship, my FFL had no issues receiving it.

My hunt is on for a CZ45.

Eddie, did you have to have an FFL03 to receive this?

I used my 03 and COE to skip the 10 wait but, as a C&R eligible pistol, it is exempt from the roster so you do not need a FFL to receive a CZ70 that is over 50 years old.

I ask because I'm still muddling my way through getting my late uncle's 1952 .38 Colt Series 1 Cobra service revolver here from Wisconsin.

This will be a one-time deal for me and going through the FFL03 application process for one pistol doesn't make sense financially.

          CZ70 pistol

I had one of those back when they were $130 retail , it feels almost like shooting a .22

the ammo was kind of expensive , I tried Winchester JHP and it worked fine , but I remember the trigger pin would drift out during firing , it was a fun compact

I sold it and bought a East German Makarov instead.

Looks great with those grips. Nice score!

I somehow ended up with not one but two CZ52s in my safe. I bought one, nearly brand new, then bought a package deal that was required to contain another CZ52 with a few other C&R pistols so now I have two.

If anyone has a good condition extra CZ82 laying around, I will trade one of my CZ52s plus a little cash for a clean CZ82. Kills me, I used to have a really nice one with no chipped paint and I stupidly sold it. Now they are expensive and there are few decent ones out there, a lot of beaters.

I'm a big CZ fan too, C&Rs and their new stuff. They make excellent firearms.

I like the proper CZ70 grips! There was another one I passed on because it had the CZ50 grips. I almost passed on this one because it appeared that the grips had brown paint.

It cleaned up nicely with a nylon brush and al little MPro-7.
