Our monthly match at Sac Valley had 25 shooters shooting all sorts of rifles.
The match winner (shot a 32) shooting a 110 year old Swiss 1911 beat all but one other shooter in the vintage class with scope rifles. So what's the secret? He must be using some sort of magic dust sprinkled over the iron sight and a prayer before shooting?.
What I find interesting is he is not using premium reloading component but "cheap" components (GP11 brass, Tula Berdan primer, I4350 and Nosler seconds). It goes to show "it's the Indian not the arrow".
