    SKS

Every once in awhile you find one of those deals you just can't pass up. Here's mine I believe it's a tula sks. I know nothing about sks rifles except there expensive now. I was offered this one with everything pictured for $200.

That's about an $800-$1,000 rifle at current market so you did very well if you bought it.

SKS is a good rifle, fun to shoot and cool looking. You should educated yourself about them. https://www.yooperj.com/SKS.htm

It's amazing how deals still pop up occasionally. Good job.

Very nice. Just curious about how it came to be "offered" up to you? Friend? Neighbor? etc....

              1950 with laminated stock?

I thought the laminated stock was used on later dates? does it have a chrome lined bore?

does the stock have matching numbers?

                That's not a deal, that's a gift.

That's nice! I'd like to see some more pic's of the left side of the receiver where the SN is as well as the stock where the SN is.

I've got a couple of 1950 dated Russians with laminated stocks. They are beautiful!

It has all matching serial numbers. A coworker bought it years ago never shot it just sat in his closet.

I would of not ripped off my coworker like that. At minimum donated $100/2+ to his favorite charity.

Is that laminated or real wood? The grain pattern look very nice
