    These are so cool, one of my favorite parts of the K31 history.

    if you are able post a picture of it? sometimes handwriting can be misread, especially non English. its also handy to have a photo so you dont need to take the buttplate off again if you need to reference it sometime.

        That is "Gartenstr". They use str for strasse, we use st for street.

          Yes, that's clearly Gartenstr, not Gartenitr. That means Gartenstrasse. It's also #4, not #7.

          So it belonged to someone at Gartenstrasse 4. The problem is Gartenstrasse 4 looks like an apartment building. So you would have no idea what unit he lived in.
