    Anyone interested in original Sharps

At local gun shop and they have 2 original Sharps rifles, one in 45-110 and one in 45-70 both in very good condition.
I bought an unfired Axtell Sharps in 45-70.
They have a large collection of BP rifles on consignment from a private collection.
Ballards, highwalls and a few others all in very good to excellent condition.

I’m 20 minutes from that area. a store that is selling these on consignment might have other older guns. Is that the case or is it a store full of semi autos except for these rifles? thanks for the tip.

Orangevale gun shop has a lot of old guns a few semiautos, just got in a collection of 1911s that were built back in the 70s. I picked up an unfired 25-5 with all paperwork and receipts from Bob Chows shop.

Appears to be Orangevale Arms at 6223 Main Ave Sacramento, CA 95662. Apparently it shares an entrance with Orangevale Barber. Sounds like I need to tell the significant other that I need a hair cut...

Are you sure they're original? There's a lot of repro producers out there.

Have to check it out. Was born and grown up in Orangevale; family used to shop at Jet and Van's market before Wild Sports. Was not aware another shop opened.

Looks like this place is next to Orangevale Chopper, in the original "Downtown Orangevale.

I live about two miles from the store. It is on the west side of Main Avenue about 100 yards north of Greenback, between the motorcycle repair shop and the little market. Been in there lots. It is a hole in the wall, but it is the real deal. Those single shots are originals. And they are up to speed on gun values.

Well, I saw these single shots today. Wow! The owner opened the case and we talked about them. I was stunned. He knew who you were on Calguns and mentioned the Axtell. I was amazed at the excellent prices. I really liked a tang sighted Ballard in .38-55 for $1800 (!!). And the place was really a High Wall Heaven. He allowed me to take some pictures of them. But, alas, me and my wallet are not in the market for such gems. I stick with handguns nowadays and will stick with my Shiloh Sharps.
