1858 Remington Black Powder Revolving Carbine 44 Caliber 18" rifle - OK for CA?

Does this black power rifle fall under same BP regulations as BP pistols? Making it okay to purchase without FFL?

    thanks!

There is no distinction between muzzle loading anything here in this state. Rifle or pistol, it is not a firearm in terms of being controlled by the DOJ. It still counts as a firearm for CCW or open carry, so don't get too carried away. But it doesn't have to go through an FFL or anything like that.

Not authentic, but cheap are the Rough Rider Rancher .22. The deluxe model has checkered grips, nicer wood, sling swivels, and adjutable buckhorn sight. It costs about $45 more than the standard.

GunGenie / Davidson sells the cheaper standard version, can ship to your local dealer, the price includes DROS fee and there is no other FFL fee except a $15 shipping fee to make the fees $52 instead of the normal DROS $37. Plus State income tax.
