Printed in 1647 in French and dedicated to Louis XIV (the Sun King who built Versailles). Is a manual of Arms and also shows battle formations. (click the download icon on the right in link immediately below). The battle formations descriptions are in French and so not too useful.
So are the manual of Arms (35 pictures showing the army drill to load and fire a matchlock).

Example. Bourrez literally means "ram it" so that's how I translated it.
