    Empire Arms m39

There has been a dozen or so Finn rifles for sale on Empire Arms over last few weeks. I'm a fan of the m39 very much. There is one on there right now with what looks like to me a sweet tiger stripe style wood. Its pulling my heart strings as my only m39 wood is just a typical wood. It is very tempting. If I could see it in person I'd probably put the cash down. I definitely need a good looking wood m39.

I do kind of like the lee Enfield looking .410. I have a few cases of .410.and dont own a .410. Dam good looking style but not sure what the hell you do with a big .410 rifle. Would be one stylish trapshooter.

I don't think those are listed on website yet. I just got the 3email

gun, guns, rifle, rifles, pistol, pistols, mauser, mausers, enfield, enfields, mosin-nagant, shooting, firearm, firearms, military, mail-order, FFL, curio, relic, relics, curio and relic, weapon, weapons, tokarev, MAS, swedish, german, british, russian, carbine

Me too, just looked over the email. All the Finns except one were sold. You have to get on Dennis' emails EARLY PST, I think a lot of guys back east buy them all up because they are awake three hours before us. I like the M39s, I had a nice no name 1968 that I sold. They are definitely cooler and better made than "regular" Mosins.

Are you referring to the 1942 Sako?

That does have a nice figured stock. The 68 is nice too.

yes 1942 Sako!....looked pretty dam nice. Sometimes the stripes/patterns do not look that good in person. Kind of wish I lived next to Denni's shop

        those things sell dam fast.

Can we still have an antique sent directly to home in Kalifornia?

The price of that PU makes we want to sell mine $1750!!..along with the $425 91/30! I dont even know if I have any left...need to go look. I bought 20 in a crate years ago from Classic. Think it was $120/rifle. They told me to stack as many crates as possible of ammo on the pallet...ah the good days were not that long ago.

Yes, we can have antiques sent directly to us in California. I had the 30-40 Krag (dated 1897) sent to me a week or two ago (arrived at my door) from one of his most recent previous lists. Wished I could have snagged the trapdoor, also.

Things go pretty quickly on his list. I always receive his email around 8:00am our time (PST).

Hmm. I was under the impression that the Krags weren't considered antique due to their cartridge.

Comes up repeatedly. Cartridge is irrelevant for antique rifles. It only matters for replicas of antiques (per 18 USC), and for NFA items that would otherwise be antique based on their year (think Maxim machinegun) (per 26 USC).
