I read someplace online to replace the main spring on my 400.
It's in 9mm largo or 38 largo, same round.
So I did the replacement spring from wolf springs. The new spring compared to the old is night and day. You really have to pull the slide to rack it

Sorry I missed your reply..What would the German Police markings be and where at? I think the 600 would have been one of the Nazi Contract pistols that were never delivered..

At least on my 600, the proof marks are lined up on the receiver right above the grips? Many of these have multiple (I have seen some with up to four or five) proof marks as they were made under contract for the Nazis but then when they were sold off to various buyers after the war into the 50s, the purchasing nations had their own proof marks added.

The proof marks are, as Capy said, above the grips on the left side of the gun.
