Please ID this Mauser (pic heavy)

Here's one for the Mauser detectives. Got a great price on a Russian Mosin M44 and a Mauser today. $500 for both. But, I need help to identify the Mauser. The bolt does not match the serial number and obviously the stock was made for a bent bolt, not a straight one.

I need help to ID both the bolt and the rifle. Below are pictures of every marking I could find. Bubba really got ahold of the stock. Regardless, it should make for a nice range toy when I get it out of jail.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Is this "A" on the stock original? The wood looks to be a beautifle flamed maple.

I think it's a Polish WZ-29/Kar98AZ that was scrubbed and sent to Spain.

        Thank you both!

Web searching verify this is an early Polish Mauser, a carbine, "scrubbed" of factory markings. This was done for the Spanish Civil War customers.

Confirming features on my rifle are the front sight, wood stock without the round silver bolt disassembly insert, straight bolt handle rear sight and the receiver without the forward ring to secure the handguard.
