Iver Johnson's Arms and Cycle Works 22 Supershot Sealed Eight

This was my grandfathers, I inherited it a while ago, but had not taken possession of it until recently, it looks like a neat little revolver. It certainly needs a cleaning before I take it out for a test firing. Any experience with these? Any good or bad words to say about it? I hadn't heard of Iver Johnson's Arms and Cycle Works until i got this.

My grandfather left me his about 4 months ago. It was seriously in need of cleaning and the double action on these things is atrocious. Single action trigger is crisp and light. Unfortunately mine has a little pitting near the muzzle in the barrel. Not sure if this will effect accuracy though. And, in case you're wondering, these are not worth much money. So hold on to it for sentimental reasons, it's not going to net you any bling.

Oh, I wouldn't sell it, it, along with his old Savage 20 gauge are my inheritance, and the only items I got to remember him by. Glad to know mine isn't unique in having a 60lb pull on the trigger, I'm sure a little cleaning will help.

        Thanks.
