    Lux FN49 ammo?

    Hi Gunner C&R Junkies,

Is a Lux FN49 sensitive to ammo usage like a Garand? Thanks, PAX

I've got a signed copy of the 2nd edition but was too lazy to research it. I have a 7MM, an 8MM, and a Lux FN 49. Thanks, PAX

No, just stick with military ammo with hard primers. Also as said above make sure the gas system is properly set.
        Poke'm with a stick!

The issue round for the .30 rifles was M2 ball equivalent, stick with that and you are good.
