CZ 38

Thanks to the OP, I had to get one too. It has the older import mark in between the two serial numbers but was able to get a complete rig. The holster is very similar to the P38 but if has P39 (t) stamp inside and a p38 won't quite fit.

I hadn't paid much attention to no import mark on mine. From what I've read Germany didn't accept the CZ38 for service and that is why there is no Nazi acceptance stamp on the pistol. Interesting that there is a stamp on the holster used for it.

Getting this gun has sort of peaked my interest on the other period CZs. There's a 25 acp type floating around GB but it's a tad proudly priced for me.

Vzor 45 Also know as the CZ45. This one was made in 1948.

That holster is a rare one - I have a few of the wartime P38 holsters, never seen a P39(t) holster, thanks for posting!

Very nice. Kind of the puppy dog version before they grow up to be ungainly and gawky 38s.

Do you think a like condition one is worth six bills? For no reason other than my SWAG it seems a bit proud.

The one above is in excellent condition with virtually no wear. It's pretty hard to find them in that condition.

Usually there is wear at the front of the slide area.
