Some one had a flintlock.

In the bottom picture. on the far right.....half way down. Below the white plastic thing. Is 2 thin pieces of lead. They have a round hole in the center.

They are, were used to help hold a flint in the jaws of the cock.

I tried them......I still prefer leather.

Interesting, thanks for the info. The white plastic thing is a bore guide for .50 cal.
