    Urguayan Mausers

Uruguayan Mausers are some of the rarest Mausers; especially here in the States. I've been lucky enough to obtain 4 now and I expect to have 2 more shortly. They are currently my favorite Mauser.

1908 Uruguayan Long Rifle dated 1910. Matching except stock but it is a Uruguayan Stock marked with U underneath. We believe this was used for embassy duty. It is super clean. Most 1908 Long Rifles seem to be in good condition. They were dated 1908, 1909, and 1910.

1908 Uruguayan Short. Only the second example I have seen. The other was mismatched and deactivated. All matching including the stock though it is faded. Only 2,500 were made. These were used hard like most South American Carbines.

Czech Made vz37 also known as 937 short rifle. All matching and in great condition. Love the crest on it. These seem to be found in better condition, when they can be found.

Another vz37 Uruguayan. This one is a bolt mismatch. Also very nice condition. Was sitting unsold for awhile on a dealer's website for under $500, so I had to grab it. Simpsons sold rather quickly a bolt mismatch vz37 for $1800 not too long ago.

Very nice. I love South American Mausers. What caliber are they in?

The others are very cool, but that long rifle is beautiful!

A rare Mauser in excellent shape.

I've had Paraguayan. Bolivian tough to find too. I've never seen a Uruguayan one.

I have a 1927 Paraguayan. Bolivian and Costa Rican are my White Rhinos. I am pretty sure a couple members here have Costa Ricans. I know Interarms bought all of Costa Rica's surplus. Rumor has it Bolivia distributed theirs to the people. I think I am going to need to find a collector friend in Bolivia.

My Paraguayan was the earlier long rifle. A total unicorn. It was converted to 30-06 too. I've seen reference to a Bolivian being in USA but is super rare. I've never seen a Costa Rican.

                              Uruguayan is super impressive though.
