CFARS 03 help

Wondering if anyone can help me here

I recently acquired a C&R with my 03 before it expired (waiting on atf for renewal)

I submitted the in state acquisition form with the date I acquired it BEFORE my 03 ffl was expired

I just got a notice from CFARS saying it is incomplete because I need an active ffl rather than an expired date

Has anyone encountered this?

Ha! Yes this has happened to me. A coupla years ago they took around 1.5 years to process a rifle. The 03 that I had attached to that rifle had expired during that 1.5 years. They contacted me saying it was expired. I uploaded my current 03 and case was closed.

I would just reply and tell them that on the day you acquired the gun and the day you filed the form at CFARS, your FFL was valid.

Back in November I acquired a M1-Carbine (1942). I was unable to log into the CFARS website. I miss typed my password more than once and was locked out. It took two weeks for them to get back to me to unlock my account. So, in the meantime I filled out the form online and sent form and check in. The check just cleared about 2 weeks ago, and I wrote and sent in November.
