Assorted Bayonets

I'm only pretty sure about two of them, one being for a M1 Garand (Second from the left first picture).

The longest and what appears the oldest has at the base of the blade "1907" and Wilkinson as in Wilkinson razors.

I'm guessing that one (first one on the left second picture) may be for a model 1917 Military.

The others I haven't a clue. I need to research them to find more info. All of the blades are pristine as my Dad kept a Rig gun grease coating on each blade.

One of them may be for a Swedish Mauser. If anyone recognizes any of them any ID info would be greatly appreciated.


These were in my Dad's estate stuff along with many other items. Thanks again.

The middle bottom is almost certainly a Swiss M1957 with the original leather frog.

Mine is a Wenger, there are other suppliers based on the stamp near the hilt.

Thank you again all I found a great site to catalog everything and the only one that was a bit of an anomaly was the FN/FAL one. Apparently there were many variations and by going through the online description and markings the closest I could come to was that it is a South African Manufactured R-1 with plastic scabbard.

Couldn't have done this without everyone's help. Thanks!!!

Otto from the supplier linked in my thread above ebayonets.com has a large website for selling old bayos.

It is a clunky site, but has pictures of many variations of bayos if you don't find it on worldbayonets.

This one too appears to be a Wenger if the W on the hilt is an indicator. Below the W appears to be a S/N 395230. On the other side of the hilt it looks like the letters F W with a plus symbol all in a circle.

The frog has a couple of markings. One towards the top is Three sided bracket with the bottom open inside the bracket is a Swedish cross a capital "M".

At the bottom of the frog it is stamped " J. Flury Sattlerei deitingen inside a rectangle. Below the rectangle in the number 67.

S/N 74743 for me.

The frog says:

M. DARBELLAY
FULLY
inside of a box with a 68 right beneath the box.

To the right of the half-moon cutout is a box containing a cross with Sz below the cross.

A lot of the round socket FAL bayonets from South Africa are on the retail market these days. I bought a couple from retailers like SARCO. The scabbards are either steel or nylon.

If your dad had the rifles that go with these bayonets, he had quite a collection.
