    My new Finnish Sako M39- with pics

    Picked this up at the Ventura gun show this weekend. I was in the market for a K-31 or Enfield No.4, but this caught my eye and couldnt pass it up. Wood and bluing are damn near perfect, so is the barrel. Cant wait to shoot it next weekend.

      Thumbs up.

      The Finnish M39 is the best Mosin Nagant variant. Forgot the Russian M91/30, M38, or M44. The Finns knew what they were doing when the captured those Russian rifles and rebuilt them.

        Very nice! Congrats are in order. That looks like post war wood but very pretty..

          The "transitional" pointed splice is fairly uncommon. Nice pick up!
