My 1892 src has a cracked tang, looks like a prior attempt to repair it has been done before. Anyone specialize in these old guns who could do this kind of work?

That sucks, bad repair, and not correcting the cause made it worse. Over tightened tang screw, with a bad stock tang inlet. You need a Tig welding artist to do it right. The good news is, there's no finish to damage with the weld.
Talk to Kendog here on the forum to see what he can do with that, or a recommendation for who can.
When it's done, the tang will have to be bedded to the butt stock so it doesn't happen again. -
