    Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

      It needs to be made CA legal before it can legally be shipped to CA, because as-is it meets CA's definition of an assault weapon [PC 30515(a)(1)(B)]

        I totally understand you’d need a kydex to plug the hole. I was coming at it from the standpoint that an authentic 7.62x51 galil will set you back $4-5k if you can find one. Here’s a mint sporter one for $1500. Not a project I really have the spare income for but I assume you could source galil furniture etc and make a proper rifle out of this.
