1911 Cmp packet

Hello Calgunners,
I hope everyone is safe and healthy.
I just sent the cmp packet to the cmp in Alabama, I am beyond excited. This would be my 4 1911 and I still want more haha. Anyway I know it may take a year or more to get back. I wanted to thank memeber Skyhawk for inspiring me to it. Also this would be my first purchase with my C&R license. What should I look for in my pistol when it arrives? I will try to buy the best possible grade they offer me.

I also sent one in. But know that your C&R license is not relevant to the CMP sales. They have to go to a 01 or 07, and are exempt from the roster by being a C&R (not by you having an 03). Skip the 10 day wait is really all you get out of it.
