I placed an order for a Winchester M1 garand from the CMP back in december I got a voicemail a few weeks later saying that they were out and that I could change my order, wait for more, or if I did not respond thy would take me off the waiting list. I didnt respond thinking it would be a while until they got one in. Last week I got an email from them saying they had shipped my rifle. I have moved from the address they have on file so it took a few days to get it but when I got it I was pleasantly surprised. It had new CMP tiger stripped wood, the park looked fairly good and it gauged a 2 on MW and a 3 TE. Normally I would be extremely happy with this but I'am in escrow for my first house and I know I shouldn't keep it but it just looks so sexy I can't give it up. I dont have pics right now as my safe is not at the place im temporarily residing in. Any one else ever had this happen to them?

They charged my card the day before it shipped and I need money to buy stuff I need for my house. But Im not selling it im going to have to sell some other stuff though
