    ORIGINAL SWISS MILITARY GP11 Cal. 7.5 x 55 BALL

Just for info, Samco has Swiss Ammo for sale.

They are slow to ship at times, but I have always been happy
    with the product they send.

i hope this is a sign of restocking. most places have been sold out for quite some time, and the ones that have it are charging around 1$ a round.

    Thnx!!!

for what its worth, its been readily available here in LA all year. Its about $45 for the 60rd battle pack.

this is great ammo, but as its steel core you cant shoot it most places, at least, down here in SoCal you cant.

i got 200rds of partisan off aim, which is reloadable and nonmag here:

might be a good and cheaper alternative to gp11 for those of us who shoot at ranges which disallow steel core.

not steel core, stee jacket. the core is actually lead, but the jacket is what attracts a magnet. heres a quick read if you want to see specifics on the ammo http://www.surplusrifleforum.com/vie...p?f=96&t=31764 . im also used to paying 30$ for a 60 brick and thats all im willing to shell out, so samco prices is right on that mark. the big part is paying for shipping out here to CA from most of the locations they sell it. JG is one of the closest, im hoping they get it in eventually and i can maybe save a few bucks.

Beat me to it, just logged on to post the same thing. I already have two cases, plus 4-5 loose 60rd packs. it seems to be in stock less and less frequently. And when someone does get some in, it sells out fast.

They're charging $235 a case. I went ahead & ordered one to throw in the closet. I paid $215 + $30 shipping last time I bought a case from Wideners (Nov 08). $235 sounds reasonable given the cost of ammo lately, and the fact that I haven't seen any for sale in months.

[i]FWIW - I placed my first order with them last week - adding a 2nd k31 to my collection. I sent them an email this morning to check on the order, and was going to call them after I posted here. They answered the email I had sent 5 minutes earlier, saying the rifle is shipping today.... much better service than I had expected. [i]

Wow, I placed an order for one of their Mosin scopeless snipers nearly a month ago, they charged my CC last week but I haven't heard jack squat from them yet.

Hasn't shipped yet, but if it's any more than $30 for UPS Ground they added in a handling charge. I'll post when they invoice me.

s/h for the ammo was $38.50. I guess that's reasonable, considering the insured value went up a little. Final cost of $0.57 per round

did you get a ship date yet? or has it come in? ive been reading on other forums from people who called in that Samco doesnt have any ammo in stock. they are taking pre-orders for when they get the stuff which could still be a month away.?.?.

If Samco has it now, I wonder when the other shops will get some more in. At least we know the swiss teat hasn't dried up (thank god). My previous orders were from Wideners and dansammo.com (both still OOS as of today). I think dans was $216 BEFORE shipping and ~47-50c/rd including shipping (in 480rd battle pack quantities).

I ordered the k31 on 5/22, my credit card was billed on 6/3 and it shipped a couple days later.

My credit card was billed for the ammo on 6/11 for the cost of ammo plus shipping, which means it has probably shipped already.

My order for 480rds through Sportsmans Guide was supposed to ship on 6/23, got delayed until 7/15, and then I get an email saying it was shipped today. Oh happy day.
