That's a very tall order. North Korean SKS's are about as rare as they come. Check Morphy's or Rock Island Auction, they put some up for auction every once in a while. But expect to pay top dollar.

          Hope you have deep pockets

RARE North Korean SKS Type 63 Matching!

Up for grabs is a North Korean SKS semi-automatic rifle in 7.62x39. Serial number - 4380. All visible matching SNs! This rifle is in excellent condition, there is a small crack on the bottom of the stock but otherwise, it is in perfect condition. It is equipped with a bayonet blade and a dark laminated stock similar to some Russian birch stocks. The bore is in excellent condition and the barrel is 20.5" long. Unfortunately it is missing the gas shutoff valve. One of the least common SKS variants, the Type-63 was a platform based on the Russian SKS-45 and produced by the North Korean. Since the rifle was introduced to the North Korean military in 1963, no Type-63s could have been recovered by the United States or other UN forces during the Korean War which raged from 1950-1953. Instead most if not all Type-63s found in the US were captured during the Vietnam War when North Korea along with several other communist governments sent military aid to North Vietnam. The North Korean Type-63 is extremely rare and will make an excellent addition to the collection.

              Incorrect.

It's NorK, east German, and north Vietnamese are the rarest.

Albanian is rare. But not on the same tier as them.

                    German SKS Model Karbiner S:

The Year of manufacture is stamped into the left side of the receiver in front of the serial number along with the stylized sunburst logo. The butt stock has a slot for a sling similar to the slot in a K98 Mauser and there is no provision for a cleaning rod. Very few were imported into the U.S. and, Michael Kreca, our writer on Yugoslavia has discovered why. In 1991, Germany once again recognized Croatia's declaration of "independence" from a dissolving Yugoslavia, much like it had done 50 years before. In fact, at that time, the most popular song in Croatia was "Danke, Danke Deutschland" (Thank you, Thank you, Germany.)

As part of this process, Germany, once again attempting to gain influence in the Balkans via the willing Croats, over the next three years gave Croatia nearly all of the former German People's Army's (East German military) huge stocks of existing weaponry ranging from Kar. Ss and MPi-Ks (AK-47s) to Mi-8 attack helicopters and 130mm howitzers as well as various types of MiG warplanes.

NK,NVA, EG, all unicorns. I'd love to say Albanians are super rare but I didn't have much trouble finding two that were very nice and matching. Not cheap though.

There are a bunch of oddball Chicoms that are rare and collectible too. They were put togethers for importation but still neat.

I don't want to upset mods by linking to it, but there is currently an East German SKS on GB listed for a cool $10,000.

After all these years, the SKS is still the bread and butter of my meager milsurp collection. The fact that 7.62x39 wolf can still be found at sort of reasonable prices makes me love them even more.
