General consensus on .303 HXP pricing.

So way back when, I bought some Grade B Greek HXP .303 brit on stripper clips when cheaper than dirt was selling it. Its 440 rounds of 174 grain. I owe some debt and Im looking for ways to get out of it without having to sell my AUG or my final AR pistol. I don't need to get rid of the debt right away but I want to. So what would be a reasonable price to to sell it for. Every store I have been in locally that has .303, is always almost always between $1.50-$2 a round.

I already checked there. All Are spent casing at 40-50 cents a piece. all other manufacturers are at over a $1 a round

I don’t think you know how to use the GB search engine. If you did you wouldn’t be asking this here.

Maybe you are right because when I check I get every other ammo manufacturer in the world as well as other surplus. Nothing for HXP

$2-3 for .303 HXP? Definitely not. Half that price is high end panic pricing.

When I click on the link I see loaded HXP ammo. Maybe you have some setting in GB that is affecting your search. I see closed auctions for $1-$1.5 each.

Interesting. No matter what I search or use on advanced search I do not see loaded hxp. I only get two listings for hxp brass 100 for $50. Thanks for letting me know.

Lot of people seem to desire the HXP.

Semi Bren-guns seem to have trouble with the old Brit/Pak stuff, so, maybe that's part of the reason, also pain to have to clean the gas system of that corrosive stuff.

I got into the Bren thing earlier this year and have been stockpiling ammo, paying $1 a round for HXP: I placed WTB ads on several forums.
I now own as much as I need to fend off a small invasion of Huns.

Use the classifieds on local forums place a WTS ad, and ask $1.50-$2 a round, if it sells, you did just fine.
If it doesn't after a month or so you drop the price incrementally.

I get nothing. All it says is the search was too broad. If I don't follow the link all I get for hxp is 30-06. When it comes to .303 I get a million different types of .303 but no HXP.

So based of what you all are saying if I was to let it go. $1.50 a round would be reasonable, since it is all on stripper clips.

Yeah I have a ton of that stuff. I would probably list it at between $1 and $1.50 per round. Any more expensive and you are getting into factory new territory. Shipping will be pricey.
