The three pictured look terrific. If they all look like that, they may be worth it. Personally, I'm happy with my service grade 1943 Inland from CMP. I think it was worth the wait.

        Not worth it...

In my observation, the products coming from CMP are far better for the money than the aim surplus rifles...

The rifles pictured almost look refinished. Awfully clean looking for 60+ year old carbines.
If it ain't broke, keep fixin' it 'til it is...

Does anyone have a report on these carbines received from AIM Surplus?

The one I bought was in great shape and most of the parts were correct, and they were easy to deal with.

Very nice-looking, but for those prices you could pick up a nice retail Garand...

I just got 6 carbines from the cmp, they are crap compared. For about $100-150 the AIM ones are lot nicer and have original stocks, not the beech wood stocks.

havent got an M1 at all, but i have delt with aim a few times and they are very easy to work with and it doesnt take the (insert ungodly amount of time here) to get your stuff from them. plus they have pretty reasonable shipping rates and a good 'handpicker'
