When does the CMP order limit reset?

[John Browning]

With a two month backlog on rifles and an incoming Biden admin, when can I send off my order for 2021? Can I send it now, knowing they won't get to it until next year, or do I have to wait to get it to them after Jan 1?

Per the newly completed and signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the U.S. Army and the Civilian Marksmanship Program, M1 Garands will be limited to eight per calendar year, per customer.

My question was perhaps worded poorly. Is an order postmarked and sent Dec 1 but not opened until Jan a 2021 order or a 2020 order?
