Can any one take a look at the grips in the attached photos and help me identify them? They look like target grips for a larger frame S&W, square butt revolver...K/L maybe...vintage??

Look like Fuzzy Farrant grips, although there were a few makers back then.
Often the front corners of the frames were cut off so the grips could sweep back more at the bottom but this pair looks like it is for uncut frames.
S&W K square butt.

Looks like FF to me too. I have a similar set that my K38 was wearing, My set and revolver is angle cut as Ojisan explained above. .Comment
