C&R arrived, get ready wallet here I go!

I am overjoyed, got home today to find a huge white packet and a tiny think blue envelope.

    Sent the Application: 8/19/06
    Money charged: 8/25/06
    License recieved: 11/20/06

Almost exactly 3 months. I was hoping it would be faster like some other's have said. But it seems that if you reside in Southern California it takes an average of 3 months to get one.

This is what I already have: K-31, Enfield No.5, Mosin M44, Yugo 48, Isaphore 2A.....here's some eye candy:

Time to Bolster my collection, here's the shopping list so far:

    1) Enfield No4.
    2) Enfield No1 Mk3
    2) K98k
    3) M38 mosin
    4) Finn M39
    5) 91/30 PU/E
    6) Steyr M95
    7) FR-8

        Where's the Garand, 1903, 1903A3, and 1917?

Make sure to send your C&R to vendors that provide "dealer" discounts, like Midway.

I've saved a ton on ammo and parts.

"I just bought a K98 from classicarm.us at $250. I was quite disappointed" beacuse of:
no bayonet lug/post, no cleaning rod, non K98 front barrel band, no band spring, missing 2 screws

Just out of curiosity. when you get you C&R do you have to log in your C&R firearms that you already have in your posession?

No, but you have to log it if you sell them.

I grew up shooting a Garand and played with 1903, I liked them but never had an attraction to them.

In any case they're CMP to me, not C&R. I could buy those anytime I wanted to. A service grade garand is in my near future, if CMP ever have more 03's and 1917 I'd pick some up.
