Thank you one more question I got the scabbard and the bayonet but it seems like the British were using a frog to mount the scabbard in gear ? Is that right ? And if so does anyone know of a source or one that can easily be repurposed? I noticed all the repop bayonets for the 1917 rifle have the wire hanagers to attach to usgi pistol belt with eyelets.

I am no expert on British gear, but yes they did use a frog, my best guess for finding one would be IMA or What Price Glory from what I have gleaned from British Muzzleloaders videos over the years, it seems to be where he gets most of his kit.
